Known as the “Little Buffalo,” the bluffs and scenery on this stretch of War Eagle Creek can’t be beat. There may be no better combination of beautiful wilderness and convenience to Eureka Springs, so plan to spend an entire day on this great float. The shuttle only takes 5 minutes and passes by a Walmart in case you forgot the snacks or your fishing pole. This trip is water-level dependent, and more likely to be higher in the spring than late summer, so ask our staff if the water level is appropriate. We do not provide shuttles for this float, guests are responsible for arranging their own shuttles.

Those are the spots that tend to end up in our regular rotation of go-to watering holes after spending a day out on the water. Sparky’s Cafe & Roadhouse is a real community spot with a big menu - one of the best places places to eat in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

The White River flows from Beaver Dam and is the closest river to Eureka Springs (10-15 minutes away), and is floatable year-round! The Beaver Dam to Houseman float is an 8 mile stretch of river with beautiful scenery, inspiring wildlife, and terrific fishing. This is an easy float which is suitable for any skill level of paddler, and takes between 3 and 4 hours depending on the speed of the current. This makes it a perfect river to canoe or kayak!
